The Crow’s Nest of West Dennis, a 144-year-old Victorian-Greek Revival at 230 Main Street in the heart of West Dennis, will feature three period-appointed rooms, each with private bath. The restaurant, located within, takes the experience of personal dining to a level not found on the Cape. Set amidst intimate surroundings in one of two turn-of-the-century dining rooms, patrons will be taken on a seasonally inspired culinary journey every Monday through Saturday via an ever-changing menu – from evening to evening, season to season. Attempting to reinvent and reintroduce intimate, personal dining to Cape Cod, Executive Chef Keith W. Herrick and Chef de Cuisine Brian Kennedy will emphasize varied offerings of fresh, in-season specialties. From appetizers such as Lavender Radish Crème Soup in May to Sea Scallops baked in Ginger Apple Butter in October, all the way to such entrees as Roast Duckling in Blueberry Lemonade Sauce or Curried Swordfish with Toasted Almonds and Coconut, every evening promises to delight your senses. Soup or Salad Split Pea Consumé with salmon profiteroles. Pre-Course Kalua Pork Tartlet with a toasted sesame-red pepper-mango salsa. Intermezzo Green Apple Sorbet. Main Course Peppercorn-Crusted Petit Filet of Beef Tenderloin with a fresh berry glace de veau. Dessert Our Signature Crow Bar Sundae with caramel crème anglaise. We are now accepting reservations for dining, catering and lodging for the 2006 summer season. Our facilities can accommodate intimate gathering of 2 to 25 ~ outdoor and off-site catering can be provided for many more. The Crow's Nest offers special packages to make your romantic getaway perfect. See our Romantic Weekends
